The first AfricaLics Write-shop and Grants Management Workshop took place on 24^th – 28^th August 2015 at the Institute for Economic Research on Innovation (IERI), Pretoria. The main aim of the workshop was to develop skills on how to write a paper for publication in a journal through a collaborative process. Six papers collaboratively written by seed funded project members were intensively discussed, focusing on the Titles, Abstracts, theory, literature review and the structure of the papers. The grant management workshop took place on the last day where experiences on the projects were shared and generally on grant management systems.
